Display and sound

Honor Pro 30+ has got OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.57 inches and a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels — a Quad HD Ghost developers is not enough. Current flagship Kirin is always a little weaker than the current platforms of other manufacturers, but 990 in 5G version is very good. Even with 8 GB of RAM LPDDR4X (there are 12-Gigabyte version, but in Russia it is not officially sold) in synthetic tests Honor 30 Pro to withstand the competition very confidently and sometimes even frankly surprising. This is the first smartphone in the history of our tests, which has earned more than 500 thousand points in AnTuTu 8.


In practice, performance is enough to keep the system running quickly and smoothly, and all games run at max without dropping framerate. Power is quite adequate competitor to the OnePlus 8 Pro – the usual leader in “podplavleniya” contest. It should be noted that all measurements were done when you activate a special performance mode in which the mobile actively eats the battery, but running on the limit. For demanding applications it is necessary to include it manually — the idea is that the smartphone should be able to do it myself, but, for example, when running benchmarks it never did, working in default mode, and issuing a lower number.

No problems at Honor Pro 30+ and was throttling, unlike its predecessor, Honor 20 Pro, the new device frequencies under loads almost do not fall: when installing a productive mode to test CPU Throttling Test frequency fell by only 8 %, and in the beginning of the session, then recovered to close to the limit level.
