Video of the day: self-assembling a Rubik’s Cube
Created, allegedly the world’s first Rubik’s Cube, able to put himself in assembled condition.
Robotic puzzle has the classic configuration of 3 × 3 × 3. Located within controllers, electric motors, and battery.
The project was implemented within a few years. When creating self-assembling a Rubik’s cube used parts made by three dimensional printing.
In the video (see below) illustrates how the cube rotates independently of the face leading themselves to their original state. The puzzle moves on the surface of the table, at the risk of being on the floor.
We add that the world-famous puzzle for more than 40 years ago invented by the Hungarian sculptor and Professor of architecture erne Rubik. According to estimates, in January 2009, the total number of units sold worldwide, the Rubik’s cubes has exceeded 350 million.
Interestingly, the number of all possible States of a Rubik’s cube with an edge length of three element is 43 252 003 274 489 856 000. By the way, now there are different types of puzzle configurations 4 × 4 × 4, 5 × 5 × 5 etc.
