Thematic reference to the famous franchise, which grew from the novels of Michael Crichton, is a key, and going forward, the only truly significant advantage of the new tycoon from Frontier Developments. The situation is aggravated by the strange attitude of the game at the time. Jurassic World Evolution can not boast of an easy intuitive interface, making many of the steps involve extra clicks and “rat race”. The events unfold rapidly: new individuals are born in a matter of minutes, studies and expeditions take only a little more feeders rapidly emptying, disease spread like wildfire. To slow down time or pause it is impossible — even when you read the encyclopedia, peace Park lives on. But to tell you the truth, and for these and other controversial things I’d like to close my eyes, the authors make on the conscience of the flesh and blood of this game — themselves revived prehistoric reptiles. After all, on the idea, what is Jurassic Park? Huge open reserve and controlled, but a giant self-regulating ecosystem where a variety of dinosaurs coexist with each other according to the laws of nature. Would like to do something similar in the game? Sure, it doesn’t work. The artificial intelligence of lizards is primitive to ugliness, the behavioral characteristics of different types do not exist as such. Most lizards, regardless of size and schooling behave exactly the same way. The sad part came with the predators that frantic rush to every living thing they see — this is not hunting for food, and some blind destruction of those who cannot fight back. In the end, attempts to create complex multi-species community fail, the animals have to relocate and delineate, and the house sinking to the level of ordinary island zoo with a bunch of small enclosures. The picture is far from the dreams, isn’t it?

Jurassic World Evolution is trying his best to please the fans of the movies — then you and familiar music, and returning to their roles (even as articulated portraits) of some of the actors, headed by the incomparable Jeff Goldblum, and dinosaurs from the screen. But if you dig deeper, it quickly becomes obvious that the creation of Frontier Developments itself looks like a dinosaur with a half genome — like looks good, growls and runs, but the inside is flawed and to a long life is not ready. The nostalgic joy and attractiveness of the droop under the weight of the total monotonicity, the congestion and creative stiffness. In such situations, the salvation often comes from the fan community, but the developers had to abandon support for versions: obviously, the brand owners of Jurassic Park don’t want to see in the game franchise, say, mammoths (or Thomas the tank engine). Perhaps they have a plan in the foreseeable future, the strategy will flourish as it deserves, — but we appreciate the game here and now, and the verdict comes out not the most comforting.

Graphics Dinosaurs every single one of these beauties, perfectly animated and traced to the smallest detail. Around each one can long around with a free camera and not to admire.
Sound Published by the lizards sounds borrowed directly from the movies, and the loud roar of a Tyrannosaurus Rex still chilly, but the rest is unimportant.
Single game The specific circumstances of Islands, make some variety, but after a couple of hours gloomy winding back and forth of the Rangers crush the whole past disappears without a trace.
