Appearance, ergonomics and software
Usually a conversation about the design of the smartphone resembles the game “find 10 differences” — and even this phrase has become a template for review. Yes, smartphones are similar to each other like two drops of water. But today’s case is a particularly neglected: Pro 6 Plus directly inherits the usual Pro 6. Well, since your own persons have smartphones, Meizu and so no (well, not to make the same signature style eternal oval button, which replaces all the navigation controls at once), we can only admit the obvious – you will have just-another-one-smartphone.
Well, if you really want, it can be considered an enlarged copy of the Meizu Pro 6 from features note brand flash with a ring of ten LEDs. It is under slightly protruding above the housing main camera lens.
Also pay attention to the mini-Jack, which in this case is located on the bottom near the USB Type-C and main speaker. To pretend smartphone integrated stereo system, the engineers of Meizu did not.
Another feature of Plus is its size. Small frame around the display is not much save the situation is to beat a 5.7-inch diagonal with dignity in recent times could only have LG model G6, where the screen really took almost the entire area of the front panel. The manufacturer claims that the scanner is now faster than Pro 6, but in fact to see the difference between impossible. Moreover, I did not like how well it responds to touch. When using capacitive sensors is actually required to regularly update the imprint – type sensor sensitive to micro-damages of the skin. But in this case, error (detection from the second-third attempt) began on the second day after the recording of the fingerprint. Overwriting also helped for about a day. Weird moment – it seemed that the scanner had learned to work all the smartphone Meizu has already demonstrated quite normal, the average for the industry level. Using the fingerprint only to unlock the device, no additional functions are not provided. Sensor for heart rate built into the same button here serves one purpose — improve safety of fingerprint sensor, so they can’t cheat by using a 3D mold of the finger or something like that.
