Tested MFP so much in common with all the representatives of the modern line of HP Photosmart that to confuse it with the products of another manufacturer is impossible. He rigid dual paper tray, located under the angle of the tab’s display panel, and the General line of the device given that it belongs to the family of HP Photosmart. Housing is mainly made of black plastic unpainted panels with a matte surface, but the scanner lid is made of plastic with a black glossy surface that gets dirty instantly and is readily covered with scratches. In General, beautiful but impractical. To build quality no comments.
The front is a dual-slot card reader slot and port to connect USB flash drives, Bluetooth module, and cameras in the direct printing mode, a standard series Photosmart HP dual tray for plain and photo papers, the top panel which is also the receiving tray. Telescopic stroke limiter paper is not centered, but closer to the left edge of the receiving tray.
In the upper part of the front panel is the standby wireless network module, power supply and touchscreen display, the sides of which there are six touch key icons menu navigation.
Touch control using the keys or the screen is quite sensitive, and the reaction immediate. However, the display – not the strongest side of the tested MFP, its viewing angles are small, the resolution a little and the display size of only 6 cm, But at the same time, we should not forget about the low cost of the device – at the time of testing it was around $165, and in this price range touchscreen display is the only MFP HP.
Behind are two connectors connections power supply (all models HP Photosmart it is external), and USB port (type B-F). There is also a removable panel that must be removed when removing jammed paper. However, it should be noted that this MFP is almost indifferent to the condition of the paper and the accuracy of its installation, so the testing period was not jammed a single sheet.
The sides are provided recesses pens, facilitating the movement and transportation of the device.
